Parental Alienation Ideology - the concept of "Projection" or "Sexual Projection"
Dr Richard Gardner created an idea that has taken a stronghold - Children make 'false accusations of sexual abuse', because Mothers subconsciously project it onto their children
In an excerpt from Dr Richard Gardners’ book “Sex Abuse Hysteria: Salem Witch Trials Revisited” he highlights a portion of his ‘parental alienation syndrome’. This facet relies on Mothers being able to ‘project’ onto their children. The idea being, because if the Fathers are the innocent victims being falsely ‘accused’, then there must be “some” explanation presented as to why a child is displaying all the hallmarks of having been sexually abused - without any tangible evidence that the Mother has told the child or manipulated the child into saying it (‘coaching’ is another rape culture myth staple still favoured by society today).
To claim a Mother can ‘project’ subconsciously is another way to trap the Mother. There is no way to measure this subconscious ability to magically ‘invoke’ a child into making sex abuse false accusation. And therefore no way to stop it. The only course of action according to Dr Richard Gardner, is to remove the Mother who is advocating for the safety of her child/ren, altogether.

Any person with a modicum of critical thinking understands that this is not only sexist, discriminatory and magical thinking - it allows grown adults in positions of power to legitimise mental gymnastics that absolve child sexual predators - namely Fathers - in Family Court.
Just a reminder of the prevalence of child sexual abuse in society, taking an example of Australian study in 2021 that include criminologist Michael Salter and Dr Brown, where the study showed that Fathers were the leading producers of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) of their own children, predominantly, girls under the age of 9:
“While parents are often positioned as partners in online safety education and abuse prevention, this study highlights the significant role played by parents in the production of CSAM, and the lack of evidence and guidance for policymakers, practitioners and law enforcement in this crucial area,” said Dr Brown.
We see Dr Richard Gardner, excusing Fathers such as the ones above, and demonising Mothers and Children, enacting a form of DARVO (Deny Attack the credibility of the reporter, Reverse Victim and Offender), in the following text:
Notice how Dr Richard Gardner describes Mothers who have suspicions of or have observed trauma in their child/ren as “vague, circular and nonspecific”. This is the kind of unscientific and unrealistic rhetoric that persists today - because how on earth is the Mother supposed to know exactly what has happened to her child/ren unless she herself was there when the offending occurred? This is a category of hindsight bias in itself.
Dr Richard Gardners’ characterisation of Mothers displaying the exact natural and appropriate emotions and actions one would expect of not just Mothers, but of anyone concerned with a child/ren who have been sexually abused, is another example of the way natural and logical responses to harms against children that have been co-opted and weaponised back onto the reporters of said abuse by way of the ‘parental alienation/resist refuse/projection’ ideology. An ideology that has not ever been, and will not ever be, legitimised by any government or registering body that doesn’t have a financial, social or some other vested interest in keeping it going.
It stands to any lay persons reasoning, that no sane individual would accept or close their eyes to an obvious manipulation of tax payer funded systems such as the Family Court that allows a bogus ideology that harms children and Mothers to continue.
It simply doesn't pass the pub test (which is an actual tangible measure of politics, policy and legislation making in Australia).
